Job description:
Minimum and maximum YOE:
• Extensive 7 years experiences of managing transportation
• 3-5 years applicable experience in the logistics environment
• Experience with cost controls and KPIs
• Proven track record in strategic planning, scheduling and labour rostering
Relocation Package:
Company will cover the accommodation for 2 weeks counting from the start working date. After that he/she will be responsible for their own.
Working condition:
• Based in Vientiane with regular travel within Laos
• May involve working outside of regular hours to meet operational demands
• Physically demanding, requiring regular on-site inspections and hands-on management.
Industry background:
Logistics, Transports, Supply Chains (used to lead and work with a mass of manpower)
Language proficiency:
• Can speak Thai
• Proficiency in English (Speaking, Writing and Listening)
Must have:
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• High customer service focus, excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders on all levels.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure whilst meeting deadlines
• Ability to problem solve and make timely decisions backed with sound and reliable execution
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
• Strong leadership qualities (ability to build and maintain a team and necessary standards) as well as work independently
• Customer service experience and skills.
• Staff management experience including negotiation and communication skills.
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Transport Management, or any related fields.
• Proficient competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
• Strong technical knowledge of transportation operating methods and equipment requirements.
• Knowledge of overall supply chain with focus on store operations and transport industry.
• Have knowledge in budgeting and finance fields.
