IT Infrastructure Architect

Service description: * The Customer server team is looking for an IT Infrastructure(solution) Architect.* The consultant will act as single point of contact between Serverteam, the different IT departments, and our business partners for newrequests/projects. Responsibilities: * The consultant will do the technical intake of new requests (demandmanagement) and will propose an architecture/solution in collaboration withthe IT domain experts. (80% of the function)* The consultant will propose the best suitable hosting solution(on-prem/cloud (Azure) for applications taking into account our standards,security, availability, possibilities of data transfer and cost.* The consultant will be part of the project team for new projects(project work will be done by the project leads).* The consultant will act as single point of contact between ServerTeam, the different IT departments and our business partners for newrequests/projects.* The consultant will do the follow up of environments with specialregulations and requirements.* The consultant will assist on technical decisions for the IToperations department.* The consultant will compare the business requirements with the ITstandards and propose adaptations on either side where required.* The consultant will evaluate, follow-up and advise on new ITtechnologies. Requirements: * At least 10 years proven experience as infrastructure (solution)architect – please provide description and references* Should be familiar with following IT infrastructure services: Activedirectory, databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MongoDB), Storage, Virtualization(ESX) , Windows Server , Linux Redhat, MS Azure(cloud), Data exchangeplatforms (RabbitMQ, Redis cache), RDP solutions (Citrix ), containerizedsolutions , networking concepts, …* Must be able to communicate fluent (oral) in Dutch and French (oneof both has to be native) and English to people/stakeholders with differenttechnical knowledge and background.* Speaking and understanding German is a plus* Computer science degree, training as a specialist for systemintegration or a comparable education.* Broad general IT experience and competences* Must have planning and organizational skills (working with strictdeadlines – must be able to cope with stress).* Must have good analytical skills.* Must have a security focused mind and a highly developed practicalcommon sense.* Must have good presentation skills.* Must be able to work independently.
