Job Title: Software Engineer – Full Stack
Location: Bangalore
We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer with experience in MuleSoft and API-based integrations to join our digital marketing platform team.
As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise integration systems using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and CloudHub 2.0. You will work closely with senior engineers and architects to build scalable APIs, support microservices-based systems, and implement intelligent workflows that connect enterprise platforms.
What you’ll be doing:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and assist in implementing API-led connectivity solutions.
Develop and maintain MuleSoft applications using Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Exchange, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Code Builder under architectural guidance.
Develop applications, data processes, and business functionalities using python and golang.
Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle, and have familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or similar document stores.
Design and develop responsive frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, or similar technologies, ensuring performance, usability, and accessibility standards are met.
Deploy and support integration workloads on CloudHub 2.0, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Contribute to building microservices-based and event-driven integrations using asynchronous messaging technologies such as Anypoint MQ or Kafka.
Support development of intelligent workflows using MuleSoft Agent Fabric and Salesforce Agentforce (Einstein 1 Platform) under senior engineering direction.
Create secure REST-based APIs and implement API security standards including OAuth2 and JWT.
Implement error handling, logging, and resiliency patterns within integration flows.
Write unit tests and support system and functional testing efforts to ensure reliability and performance.
Troubleshoot integration issues and support root cause analysis efforts.
Assist in migration and modernization initiatives, including CloudHub 1.0 to 2.0 upgrades and Mule 3 to Mule 4 transitions.
Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to support CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines.
Stay up to date with evolving MuleSoft and Salesforce integration capabilities.
Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production systems as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in enterprise integration or backend systems development, with at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Working knowledge of MuleSoft components including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and CloudHub.
- Strong experience building frontend applications using React, Next.js, Angular, or similar frameworks.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of integration patterns, API security, and data transformation using MuleSoft DataWeave.
- Familiarity with distributed systems concepts, microservices architecture, and event-driven messaging.
- Experience with Python/Golang is preferred.
- Experience with CloudHub 2.0 or cloud-based integration deployments is a plus.
- Exposure to intelligent workflow automation or agent-based systems such as MuleSoft Agent Fabric or Salesforce Agentforce is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- MuleSoft certification is a plus.
