About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Technical Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing our Network Management Systems (NMS) and Element Management Systems (EMS). Your expertise in telecom/network protocols and FCAPS (Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, Security) functionality will be crucial in designing, developing, and integrating services for alarms, performance monitoring, inventory management, and network topology. You will also be responsible for ensuring the scalability and reliability of our network management solutions by integrating northbound and southbound interfaces. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based services for NMS/EMS applications.
  • Implement FCAPS functionality, including fault management, configuration management, accounting management, performance management, and security management.
  • Develop and integrate northbound and southbound interfaces for seamless data exchange.
  • Work with networking protocols such as SNMP, NETCONF/YANG, Syslog, CLI/SSH, and TL1.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of network management solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to NMS/EMS applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in network management.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 to 12 years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17), Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, concurrency, collections, and JVM performance.
  • Practical experience with NMS/EMS feature development and FCAPS.
  • Hands-on experience with networking protocols: SNMP (MIBs, SMI, traps/informs, SNMPv3 auth/privacy), NETCONF/YANG (optionally RESTCONF), Syslog, CLI/SSH, TL1 (for legacy/vendor EMS).
  • Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with message queue technologies (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
