General Accountant

<h2>About the job</h2><div><br></div><div><strong style="background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);"><u>Job Responsibilities</u></strong></div><ul><li>Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger entries.</li><li>Follow up with clients on outstanding payments and provide an updated accounts receivable report</li><li>Ensure compliance with local taxation, labor, and financial regulations.</li><li>Provide financial and HR administrative support to ensure smooth operations</li><li>Coordinate with external vendors, auditors, and government authorities when necessary.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of employee data, contracts, insurance, and payroll documentation for payroll vendor.</li><li>Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for Vietnam staff</li></ul><div><strong style="background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);"><u>Payment works</u></strong></div><ul><li>Review and verify payment requests &amp; claims to ensure that all payments have sufficient invoices and supporting documents and comply with accounting standards, government regulations, company policies.</li><li>Ensure the payments proceed timely and accurately with the appropriate authorizer.</li><li>Record and file invoices and financial documents using the company’s internal system (Misa and Xero).</li><li><span style="background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);">Update the changes on bank mandate to relevant banks</span></li></ul><div><strong style="background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);"><u>Filing</u></strong></div><ul><li>Filling AP documents, ensure that all documents related to accounts payable are properly filed and maintained for future use.</li><li>Prepare monthly VAT input report and perform reconciliation.</li></ul><div><strong><u>Ideal Profile</u></strong></div><ul><li>Minimum Diploma Degree in Finance or Accounting or a related field</li><li>3-4 years of experience in General Accountant</li><li>Fluent in English, both written and spoken is a MUST</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software</li><li>Good understanding of basic financial principles and reporting</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li></ul><div><strong><u>What is in it for you?</u></strong></div><ul><li>Huge opportunity to learn, grow and develop your professional career in the global company</li><li>Remote, Part time</li><li>Opportunity to work directly with the founders</li><li>Young and dynamic team, working with clients worldwide.</li><li>Candidate needs to based in HCMC</li></ul><div><strong><u>Notes</u></strong></div><div>This job is for people who like to work alone.
