Company:&nbsp;Government ConsultingPosition:&nbsp;Technical Advisor/Site LeadPay:&nbsp;$144KLocation: 100% ON SITE - Columbia, SCTravel Requirements<ul><li>Occasional CONUS TDY travel for meetings and training</li><li>Occasional OCONUS TDY travel to the CENTCOM AoR, including Al Udeid AB, Qatar</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility</li><li>Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification</li><li>Trainer certification</li><li>ITIL Foundation certification - Preferred</li><li>MS in a related field with 7 or more years of experience.</li></ul>ResponsibilitiesThe Technical Advisor/Site Lead is a senior role requiring a thorough understanding of AFCENT's goals, objectives, and implementation strategies.&nbsp;The individual in this role must also have knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) concepts. Primary duties include:<ul><li>Assisting the AFCENT A63 Technical Director with developing goals, objectives, and implementation strategies for IT services.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Providing management oversight and strategic guidance across NOSC functional areas.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Ensuring appropriate operation and maintenance actions are performed on all mission networks.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Applying SDLC concepts and principles in engineering activities.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Assisting with the planning and execution of AFCENT network operations projects.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Providing technical coordination and research to exploit cutting-edge technologies.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Participating in strategic planning conferences and working groups.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Reviewing technical project documentation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Preparing briefings and presentations in support of IT initiatives.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Developing and modifying standardized training.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Assisting project leads with determining project scope, resources, and schedules.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinating technical visits from DoD activities, contractors, and commercial vendors.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Representing AFCENT A6 during technical exchanges.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Meeting with key vendors and other organizations.</li><li>Deliver On-call support outside normal business hours, as required</li></ul>
