About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Website QA Leader/Manager to lead our QA efforts for our global website. As the Website QA Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our website across all localized versions. You will lead and mentor a team of manual and automation QA engineers, define and implement test strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless user experience. This role requires a strong understanding of web technologies, testing methodologies, and leadership skills to drive quality initiatives and ensure our website meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of manual and automation QA engineers.
- Own the QA process for our global website, ensuring high standards of quality across all localized versions.
- Define and continuously improve test strategies, plans, and processes for web testing (functional, regression, cross-browser, responsive, etc.).
- Coordinate and track testing efforts across multiple releases and projects.
- Ensure test coverage for a wide range of web features including content accuracy, navigation, performance, SEO standards, and localization.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, content managers, and project stakeholders to proactively address quality concerns.
- Review and enhance automation coverage; support the automation engineer in maintaining robust automated test suites.
- Manage defect tracking and drive resolution with development teams.
- Prepare and deliver QA status reports, metrics, and risk assessments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in Website testing with 500+ pages that is available to external users.
- 5+ years of experience in software/web QA, including hands-on testing.
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), CMS platforms, and responsive design principles.
- Experience managing both manual and automation testing.
- Familiarity with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Knowledge of browser developer tools and ability to debug web issues.
- Experience with website localization testing, including multi-language and region-specific content.
- Understanding of accessibility, SEO, and performance testing is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is a strong plus.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
