About the Role
You’ll play a critical role in designing and maintaining the backbone of the platform — scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs. You’ll collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers, while also mentoring junior team members and helping shape the system’s technical direction.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements.
- Optimize systems for performance and scalability, ensuring they can support high traffic and large datasets.
- Ensure application security and compliance with industry standards.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code aligned with best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Partner with DevOps to streamline CI/CD and ensure smooth service deployment.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and strategic technical planning.
- Stay current on industry trends and apply relevant innovations to enhance the platform.
Your Experience & Skillset
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
- Proficiency in Python; experience with Django and Celery preferred.
- Familiarity with both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
