This role offers strong benefits, growth potential, and the opportunity to influence long‑term data strategy.</div><h2><br></h2><h2><strong>Job Details</strong></h2><ul><li><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full‑time</li><li><strong>Work Hours:</strong> Standard business hours with occasional off‑hours support</li><li><strong>Work Model:</strong> remote with 1 week onsite per quarter</li><li><strong>Benefits:</strong> 100% employer‑paid health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; flexible PTO; 401(k) match; bonus potential</li><li><strong>Technology Stack:</strong> SQL Server 2019, SSMS, SSRS, MongoDB (hosted), Power BI, PowerShell, PostgreSQL, .NET, SSIS, ZappySys (helpful but not required)</li></ul><h2><br></h2><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and ETL workflows for data movement across diverse sources.</li><li>Administer and maintain SQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments at a <strong>99.9% uptime standard</strong>.</li><li>Manage SSRS reporting, including report creation, optimization, and system integration.</li><li>Oversee a hosted MongoDB environment and support cross‑platform data tasks.</li><li>Perform proactive performance tuning, capacity planning, and real‑time monitoring.</li><li>Implement and execute database backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery strategies.</li><li>Develop automation scripts for routine DBA operations and monitoring.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement through monitoring, alerting, and system optimization.</li></ul><h2><br></h2><h2><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></h2><ul><li>Experience with SQL Server administration, isolation levels, normalization, and relational database concepts.</li><li>Familiarity with Windows Server environments.</li><li>Ability to support database operations in a 24/7 environment when needed.</li><li>Hands‑on experience with SSIS and ETL processes (ZappySys a plus).</li><li>Working knowledge of Power BI, PowerShell, PostgreSQL, or .NET (preferred but not required).</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams.</li><li>Highly self‑directed, able to work independently, and effective at managing multiple deadlines.</li><li>Experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable project tools.</li></ul><h2><strong>Education</strong></h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not required with equivalent experience).</li></ul>
