QA Lead

The ideal candidate will be <strong>smart, articulate, proactive</strong>, and capable of leading a team of QA/QE engineers while contributing to the technical work. You’ll play a critical role in shaping and executing the quality strategy for complex applications.</div><div class="ql-align-center"><br></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Lead and manage a team of QA and QE engineers, including performance reviews, mentoring, and workload distribution.</li><li>Be hands-on with automation frameworks, test script development, and defect triaging as needed.</li><li>Define and implement quality assurance strategies and best practices.</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, product, and project management.</li><li>Represent the QA function in client meetings and provide clear, confident updates and insights.</li><li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test suites for web, API, and backend testing.</li><li>Ensure full test coverage through functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.</li><li>Support CI/CD pipeline integration and continuous testing practices.</li></ul><div class="ql-align-center"><br></div><div><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>12+ years of total QA experience with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or lead role.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>test automation tools</strong> such as <strong>Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar</strong>.</li><li>Proficient in scripting languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.</li><li>Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.</li><li>Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).</li><li><strong>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</strong>; able to interact confidently with clients and stakeholders.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><div class="ql-align-center"><br></div><div><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li>Exposure to cloud environments like AWS or Azure.</li><li>Knowledge of performance, security, or mobile testing is a plus.</li><li>Experience in regulated industries (Finance, Healthcare, etc.) is advantageous.</li></ul><div><br></div>
