AI Engineer (AI Agents & Systems Security)

About the Role

ACV Capital is seeking a highly motivated and skilled AI Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and securing our AI Agent orchestration system. This is a unique opportunity to go beyond basic prompt engineering and delve into the complexities of creating robust, secure, and reliable agentic workflows. You will be responsible for ensuring our AI agents operate in secure environments and do not pose any security liabilities. We are looking for someone with a proactive, "hacker" mentality who enjoys identifying vulnerabilities and implementing preventative measures. Key Responsibilities

  • Agent Development: Build and optimize agentic workflows using Python or Node.js.
  • Security Hardening: Implement defenses against Prompt Injection and ensure strict data privacy within LLM interactions.
  • Containerization: Manage the application environment using Docker to ensure isolated, reproducible, and secure deployments.
  • API & Secret Management: Securely integrate third-party tools and databases (OAuth, API Key management, Secret scrubbing).
  • Debugging & Reliability: Monitor agent performance, identify logic failures (hallucinations), and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI agents into existing systems and workflows.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI security and agentic workflows.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and security standards for AI agent development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Junior level (1–2 years) of relevant work experience or a high-potential Computer Science graduate with a solid GitHub portfolio in AI or backend development.
  • Proficiency in Python or Node.js and a strong understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), tool calling, and LLM orchestration frameworks.
  • Comfortable with Docker (writing Dockerfiles and using Docker Compose).
  • Understanding of application security basics and AI-specific risks.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix terminal and Git (branching, PRs, and merge conflict resolution).
  • Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR) is a plus.
