🧠 About the Role
We are looking for a Cloud Data Engineering Lead to take the reins in designing and delivering modern cloud-native data architectures. You’ll be working at the intersection of big data and cloud computing—building scalable systems, managing a talented data team, and helping clients solve complex data challenges.

📌 Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build modern cloud-native data platforms (Data Lakes, Lakehouses, Data Warehouses).
- Develop robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using modern frameworks (Airflow, Glue, DBT, etc.).
- Manage real-time data ingestion and streaming solutions with Kafka, Flink, or Apache Beam.
- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud architects to deploy scalable solutions on AWS (or GCP/Azure).
- Guide and mentor a growing team of data engineers, helping shape project outcomes and team growth.
- Write clean, efficient code using SQL and Python; maintain and tune data solutions for performance.
- Contribute to project scoping, design reviews, and strategic data decisions with CTO and CEO.
- Stay ahead of technology trends and recommend new approaches for data strategy and architecture.
🎯 What You Bring
Must-Have:
- 5+ years in data engineering, cloud data architecture, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, GCP or Azure also welcome).
- Proficient in SQL and Python; strong coding discipline.
- Familiar with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Dagster, or Luigi.
- Knowledge of modern data integration tools (Fivetran, Airbyte, Talend, AWS Glue).
- Experience with query engines and processing tools: Presto, Flink, PySpark, DBT.
- Understanding of modern databases and real-time data systems (Redshift, MongoDB, Kafka, PostgreSQL).
Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to Big Data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or Hadoop.
- AWS Data Analytics or related cloud certifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
