Job purpose:

The role is to provide transformative leadership in establishing and optimizing value

chains for key agricultural commodities, aligning with the vision of creating efficient

and sustainable agricultural operations in our client's company in Myanmar. As CEO of the agriculture sector within the company, the role will

Focus on driving strategic initiatives across trading, logistics, distribution, and

manufacturing. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to pioneer

innovative value chain solutions for commodities such as rice, beans, and cooking

oil, contributing to the economic development of Myanmar while ensuring

sustainability and long-term impact.

Core Responsibilities:

 Develop and execute a strategic vision for the agriculture sector, with a focus on creating efficient

and sustainable value chains.

 Oversee the setup and optimization of value chains for key agricultural products, ensuring alignment

with local and international market demands and company objectives.

 Drive excellence in trading, logistics, distribution, and manufacturing operations to enhance

efficiency and profitability.

 Establish and nurture partnerships with farmers, suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders to

strengthen the agricultural ecosystem.

 Identify and implement innovative practices and technologies to enhance productivity, sustainability,

and competitiveness.

 Build organizational capabilities to support long-term growth, operational excellence, and talent

development.

 Responsible for achieving key performance metrics such as revenue growth, market share

expansion, and operation efficiency

 Collaborate with the leadership of the company to align sector goals with the overall

corporate strategy and leverage group synergies.

 Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and global dynamics affecting the

agriculture industry.

Qualification & Experience:

 Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in the agriculture sector, with a focus on trading,

logistics, distribution, and manufacturing.

 Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and managing value chains for agricultural

products such as rice, beans, and cooking oil.

 Proven ability to create and execute strategies that drive growth, sustainability, and profitability.

 Strong leadership skills with a history of building and leading high-performance teams.

 In-depth understanding of agricultural markets, production trends, and consumer demands,

particularly in Southeast Asia.

 Expats with prior experience working in Myanmar are welcome to apply

Preferred Skills:

 Expertise in supply chain optimization and sustainable farming practices.

 Strong financial acumen, including budget management and performance analysis.

 Experience collaborating with government agencies, NGOs, and international organizations for

agricultural development.

 Familiarity with modern agricultural technologies and digital tools to enhance operations.
