<div><strong>Role: Product Manager – Hardware</strong></div><div><strong>Work Location:</strong> Bangalore</div><div> <strong>Experience:</strong> 6–12 years</div><div> <strong>Team Values:</strong> Teamwork | Innovation | Extreme Ownership | Tenacity</div><div><br></div><div><strong>OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE</strong></div><ul><li>Own the product vision and roadmap for 75F’s embedded hardware and firmware platforms</li><li>Define hardware and firmware specs for edge devices, controllers, and environmental sensors</li><li>Collaborate with engineering on board design, schematic reviews, prototyping, and testing</li><li>Drive architectural alignment between firmware stack and hardware capabilities</li><li>Ensure regulatory compliance (UL, CE, FCC) and industry protocol adherence (BACnet, Modbus, Zigbee, LoRa, etc.)</li><li>Balance performance, power, reliability, and cost in hardware/firmware decisions</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></div><ul><li>Define technical product requirements for control boards, IoT edge devices, and smart sensors</li><li>Oversee hardware design lifecycle: component selection, schematic/PCB reviews, EVT/DVT/PVT phases</li><li>Work with firmware teams on embedded development for control loops, device drivers, RTOS-based systems</li><li>Manage hardware-firmware integration planning including OTA update mechanisms and diagnostics</li><li>Own validation test plans for field environments—thermal, electrical, RF, and real-world use cases</li><li>Interface with external hardware design houses and manufacturing partners</li><li>Track bugs, reliability issues, and drive root cause analysis to closure across firmware and hardware</li><li>Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales for technical documentation and value messaging</li><li>Lead competitive benchmarking of product hardware and embedded capabilities</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS</strong></div><ul><li>4+ years of experience in product management or design for hardware or embedded systems</li><li>Deep understanding of PCB design, board bring-up, sensors, power systems, and microcontrollers</li><li>Hands-on experience with embedded firmware development and debugging (C/C++, RTOS, MCUs, SoCs)</li><li>Familiarity with HVAC and BMS control topologies and protocols (BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, Zigbee, BLE)</li><li>Experience with hardware validation tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, RF testers)</li><li>Strong grasp of embedded systems integration, diagnostics, bootloaders, OTA mechanisms</li><li>Proven ability to work closely with hardware/firmware teams and convert customer needs into product specs</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, or related engineering fields</li><li>Excellent communication skills, documentation ability, and cross-functional stakeholder management</li><li>Passionate about IoT and energy-efficient smart building technologies</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>EXPECTED OUTCOMES</strong></div><ul><li>Successfully launch highly reliable and integrated hardware platforms aligned with product roadmap</li><li>Streamline hardware/firmware co-development process and reduce time-to-market</li><li>Deliver seamless edge intelligence capabilities—sensor integration, local control, and secure connectivity</li><li>Ensure rigorous design validation and field reliability across all deployed hardware</li><li>Maintain competitive advantage by continuously improving hardware performance, cost efficiency, and feature set</li></ul><div><br></div>
