Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with strong exposure to Telecom systems and largescale enterprise environments. The role involves building and supporting backend applications, automation frameworks, and data integrations
across OSS/BSS, Network Operations, Service Assurance, and Fulfilment platforms. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in 24x7 production environments, collaborating with cross functional telecom teams, and delivering scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Python based applications and services supporting Telecom OSS/BSS systems
Develop REST APIs, microservices, and automation scripts for network and service operations
Integrate Python applications with Telecom platforms such as CRM, Billing, Order Management, Network Inventory, and Monitoring tools
Work on network automation, service provisioning, fault and performance management use cases
Handle production support, incident analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA)
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for telecom-grade systems
Optimize application performance for high volume, low latency telecom workloads
Collaborate with architects, network teams, and business stakeholders
Mentor junior developers and enforce coding and security best practices
Participate in Agile ceremonies and telecom release cycles
Must Have Skills (Mandatory)
7+ years of hands on Python development experience
Strong experience with Django / Flask / FastAPI
Solid understanding of Telecom OSS/BSS concepts (Order to Activate, Trouble to Resolve, Billing flows, etc.)
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Internal - General
Use
Strong knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
Experience working in Linux/Unix production environments
Hands on with Git, CI/CD pipelines
Experience in production support, incident management, and RCA
Understanding of high availability, scalability, and resilience in enterprise systems Telecom Specific Preferred Skills (Highly Desirable)
Experience with Network Management Systems (NMS)
Knowledge of SNMP, NETCONF, RESTCONF, TMF APIs
Exposure to Service Assurance, Fault, Performance & Configuration Management
Experience with log and monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
Understanding of Telecom KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics
Experience working with large telecom clients (operators, MSPs, OEMs)
Cloud & DevOps (Good to Have)
Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
Hands on with Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
Experience with message queues / streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
