Information Security Analyst

Job Details
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: $95k-$115
Work Environment: Onsite
Schedule: Standard business hours; occasional after-hours response may be required based on incident severity
Support one or more core security programs, including Vulnerability Management (VM), Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR), and security tool administration.
Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events, logs, and alerts using SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and other tools.
Assist with configuration, deployment, and maintenance of security technologies and new tool features.
Document findings, procedures, and SOPs; communicate results through tickets, reports, or presentations.
Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and technical stakeholders to support compliance, reviews, and security operations.
Job Requirements
5+ years of overall IT experience
1–2 years of hands-on security experience
Knowledge of security methodologies, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewall solutions, and network/security applications
Understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems
Basic proficiency in digital forensics and malware analysis (e.g., file signatures, memory analysis, binary review)
Familiarity with Internet protocols and common applications
General understanding of industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, HITRUST)
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field OR relevant experience plus industry certifications
One or more relevant certifications (CEH, PenTest+, Security+, Network+, SSCP, GSEC, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification programs
