Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience with Java and expertise in building cloud-native solutions on GCP. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based microservices and enterprise applications.

Build and maintain cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external services.

Work with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.

Ensure application scalability, performance optimization, and security best practices.

Collaborate with DevOps, architecture, and product teams to deliver robust solutions.

Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and troubleshooting production issues.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in Java development.

Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and distributed systems.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.

Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with Git-based version control systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, or GKE.

Knowledge of event-driven architecture and message queues.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

GCP certifications are a plus.
