Travel Requirements

  • Occasional CONUS TDY travel for meetings and training
  • Occasional OCONUS TDY travel to the CENTCOM AoR, including Al Udeid AB, Qatar

Qualifications

  • Secret clearance
  • BS in related field AND 5 or more years’ relevant experience; or 7 or more years’ relevant experience.
  • Project Management Tools experience
  • PMP or equivalent
  • ITIL Foundation Certification - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and managing information systems and technology projects throughout their lifecycle
  • Develop detailed project plans, outlining resources (personnel, materials, funding), schedules, and other necessary information for successful project execution.  
  • Coordinate with project leads to tailor the project plan, ensuring alignment with specific resource constraints (manpower, time, budget).  
  • Monitor and track project resource requests, including Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Statements of Work (SOWs).  
  • Manage and assist in coordinating IT contracts with external and local contracting offices for acquiring necessary materials, equipment, and services.  
  • Maintain a master list of equipment and materials for each project to ensure standardization across the enterprise.  
  • Track and maintain an enterprise-wide licensing inventory for software purchases, renewals, and upgrades.  
  • Utilize AFCENT-approved project management tools and information portals to provide access to project status, data, and documentation.  
  • Generate detailed reports and presentations to assist senior leaders in strategic planning and decision-making.  
  • Capture and disseminate project data through the web, making it accessible to end-users and local agencies.  
  • Maintain a file plan and archive project-related data following Air Force and local directives.  
  • Coordinate project tasks and support activities with internal and external agencies, including personnel deployments and material acquisition.  
  • Train NOSC personnel on the use of project management tools.  
  • Track project effectiveness, resource utilization, and execution; provide recommendations for improvement.  
  • Manage and coordinate the acquisition of project resources, including documentation, licensing, hardware, and software.  
  • Document projects in web and archive formats for historical and audit purposes.
