Job Title: AEM Technical Lead
Location: Fort Mill, SC/ NYC, NY

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced AEM Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade web and content management solutions using Adobe Experience Manager. This role will lead a team of developers, define technical architecture, and work closely with business and UX teams to deliver scalable and secure digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end AEM solution design and implementation.
  • Define technical architecture and best practices for AEM components, templates, and workflows.
  • Develop and review AEM components using Sling, OSGi, and JCR.
  • Customize and manage AEM workflows, templates, and content models.
  • Integrate AEM with backend systems using REST APIs and microservices.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and security of AEM applications.
  • Lead code reviews and enforce development standards.
  • Guide and mentor AEM developers and support their technical growth.
  • Collaborate with UX, product owners, and QA teams to deliver high-quality releases.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for AEM environments.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.

Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x / AEM Cloud Service).
  • Expertise in Sling Models, OSGi, JCR, and Apache Felix.
  • Proficiency in Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and HTL (Sightly).
  • Experience with AEM workflows, MSM, and content fragments.
  • Solid understanding of AEM Dispatcher, caching, and CDN concepts.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with build and deployment tools: Maven, Git, Jenkins.
  • Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Good to Have
  • Experience with AEM Forms, Assets, or Commerce.
  • Exposure to React or Angular with AEM headless capabilities.
  • Adobe certification (AEM Developer or Architect).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and accessibility standards.
