The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with <strong>AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)</strong> and working knowledge of <strong>NoSQL technologies</strong> such as <strong>MongoDB</strong> or <strong>Amazon DynamoDB</strong>. This role requires a deep understanding of both <strong>relational and non-relational databases</strong>, along with the ability to integrate database services with application layers effectively.</div><div>&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Lead and manage <strong>database migration initiatives</strong>, especially leveraging <strong>AWS DMS</strong> for seamless transitions.</li><li>Design and develop robust, high-performance <strong>relational and NoSQL database solutions</strong>.</li><li>Work with <strong>MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB</strong>, or similar NoSQL systems for scalable, schema-less data structures.</li><li>Collaborate with application development teams to enable <strong>efficient integration between databases and applications</strong>.</li><li>Optimize queries and ensure performance tuning across relational and NoSQL environments.</li><li>Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data availability, consistency, and performance.</li><li>Automate database tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell).</li><li>Ensure adherence to security, backup, and disaster recovery standards for all databases.</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li>7–12 years of experience in <strong>database development and migration</strong> projects.</li><li>Strong expertise in <strong>AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)</strong>.</li><li>Solid experience with both <strong>relational databases</strong> (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL) and <strong>NoSQL databases</strong> (e.g., MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB).</li><li>Hands-on knowledge of <strong>data modeling</strong>, indexing, and data partitioning strategies in NoSQL systems.</li><li>Deep understanding of <strong>DBA-to-application integration</strong>, including stored procedures, API interfaces, and ORMs.</li><li>Experience in performance tuning, schema design, and large-scale data operations.</li><li>Exposure to <strong>cloud database environments</strong> like <strong>AWS RDS</strong>, <strong>Aurora</strong>, or <strong>managed NoSQL services</strong>.</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.</li></ul><div><br></div>
