Job Description:

We are urgently hiring a highly skilled Azure Fabric Engineer for a critical role. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and a strong grasp of the Azure data ecosystem. This is a senior-level role requiring expertise across Fabric architecture, data engineering, and Azure platform integration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Microsoft Fabric Expertise:

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Fabric Platform and architecture: OneLake, DirectLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse.
• Proficient in OneLake: workspace management, shortcuts, file formats (Parquet, Delta), and source mounting.
• Experience with Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, Notebooks, and Semantic Models.
• Understanding of Fabric capacities and licensing.
• Capable of configuring and managing Spark workloads including node sizing, concurrency, and scaling.

2. Data Engineering:

• Hands-on with Lakehouses and Notebooks using PySpark and SQL for data transformation and cleansing.
• Data ingestion/transformation using Pipelines: joins, filters, aggregations, UDFs.
• Efficient handling of large-scale datasets.
• Expertise in Delta Lake format and building Delta tables.
• Implementation of metadata-driven data ingestion.

3. Data Integration & ETL/ELT:

• Experience working with Dataflows Gen2 and Fabric Pipelines.
• Configuring pipeline triggers, activities, dependencies, and monitoring.
• Hands-on with connectors: Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and more.
• Scheduling and monitoring data refreshes.

4. Azure Ecosystem Experience:

• Proficiency with Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
• Integration with Azure Active Directory and implementation of security models.

Additional Information:

• This is a very critical role and requires immediate onboarding.
• Only candidates with strong practical experience in Microsoft Fabric and related Azure technologies should apply.
