Role Description: Data Analyst
Location: Basking Ridge NJ
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support customer analytics and business insights generation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Tableau/Looker, and EDA, along with hands-on experience in churn analysis, ARPU analytics, Customer 360, and behavioral data insights.
Role and responsibilities
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in customer data
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau / Looker
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Analyze customer behavior, segmentation, and lifecycle trends
- Support churn analysis and retention strategies by identifying key drivers of customer attrition
- Perform ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) analysis to identify revenue opportunities
- Contribute to building and enhancing Customer 360 datasets and views
- Translate business questions into analytical queries and data-driven insights
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and validation of reports and dashboards
- Utilize GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage) for data analysis and reporting
Technical skills requirements
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,
- Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions)
- Hands-on experience with Tableau / Looker
- Strong understanding of EDA and data analysis techniques
- Experience in customer analytics use cases - Churn analysis, ARPU analytics, Customer segmentation, Customer 360
- Ability to analyze behavioral and transactional data
- Exposure to cloud platform- GCP– BigQuery, Dataproc, Composer
- Strong Knowledge in Python
Nice-to-have skills
- Experience with AI-native analytics tools and automation platforms
- Domain expertise in telecom
Qualifications
- Overall 9+ years with 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Data Analyst Customer Domain
- B.Tech., M.Tech. or MCA degree from a reputed university
