About the Role
We are looking for a Director, Strategic Initiatives (HR Transformation) to join our Transformation Office (TMO). This role will lead and execute large-scale HR transformation initiatives, focusing on organizational design, workforce strategy, and building a high-performance organization aligned with business growth. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive change, redesign operating models, and elevate HR into a strategic business driver. The Director will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing project budgets, and ensuring that transformation initiatives are delivered on time and within scope. They will also be expected to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR transformation, and to bring innovative ideas to the table.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive strategic HR transformation programs (HR TOM, Talent Strategy, Workforce Planning).
- Partner with business leaders to align HR strategy with business objectives.
- Ensure effective execution of transformation initiatives end-to-end.
- Lead organizational design and restructuring (org structure, spans & layers).
- Optimize operating models to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Assess and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
- Design and implement performance management frameworks (KPIs / OKRs).
- Build talent strategies (build – buy – borrow) aligned with growth priorities.
- Develop competency frameworks and leadership pipeline.
- Develop and execute change management strategies for transformation programs.
- Engage stakeholders and drive alignment at leadership level.
- Ensure adoption and sustainability of new initiatives.
- Establish metrics and dashboards to track transformation outcomes.
- Use data and insights to support decision-making.
- Strengthen governance and monitoring mechanisms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in HR, Strategy, or Transformation.
- At least 5 years in Organizational Development / HR Transformation / Consulting.
- Strong experience in organizational design & restructuring.
- Strong experience in performance management & talent strategy.
- Strong experience in change management in large organizations.
- Background in banking, financial services, large corporations, or consulting firms is preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders (C-level exposure preferred).
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capability.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills and experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
