Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Product Owner with strong banking domain expertise to own and drive the delivery of data and analytics platforms supporting Business/Commercial Banking. The Product Owner will be responsible for defining product vision, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring delivery of scalable, compliant, and business-aligned solutions in a regulated banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Own and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for banking data and analytics platforms
Partner with business stakeholders to define product strategy, goals, and success metrics (KPIs)
Translate business outcomes into epics, features, and well-defined user stories
Prioritize backlog items based on business value, risk, regulatory needs, and technical dependencies
Act as the primary interface between business, technology, data, and compliance teams
Drive acceptance criteria, sprint reviews, and release readiness
Ensure alignment with security, compliance, audit, and data governance standards
Support UAT, production readiness, and post-release performance monitoring
Mandatory Skills & Experience
8–10 years of experience in Banking or Financial Services, with Product Owner or Product Manager responsibilities
Strong knowledge of Business / Commercial Banking products and end-to-end processes
Proven experience owning data, analytics, or platform products
Hands-on experience managing product backlogs in Agile / SAFe environments
Strong understanding of data platforms, ETL/ELT, reporting, and KPI frameworks
Experience working with cloud-based platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP – functional knowledge)
Solid understanding of risk, compliance, audit, and PII requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data modernization or legacy-to-cloud transformation programs
Exposure to Power BI or enterprise analytics tools
Experience with incentive, payout, or sales validation platforms
CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent certification
Soft Skills
Strong decision-making and prioritization abilities
Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to balance business outcomes with technical constraints
Comfortable leading in ambiguity and driving alignment across teams
