Technical Business Analyst

Company: Investment Firm / Wealth ManagementJob: Technical Business AnalystPay: $110K - $140K based upon experienceLocation: Camas, WA or Plano, TX - Hybrid with 1 day a week from home after the first 90 days Education: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required</li></ul>&nbsp;Experience:<ul><li>5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst of a Wealth or Investment Management Technology team</li><li>MUST HAVE - Hands-on experience in Portfolio management platforms like Charles River or Bloomberg</li><li>Working knowledge of Portfolio management concepts (Positions, Trades, Securities)</li><li>MUST HAVE technical experience in modifying and creating SQL queries to pull data </li></ul>&nbsp;Responsibilities:<ul><li>Collaborate closely with all Portfolio Management group which includes Portfolio Accounting, Portfolio Analytics, Security operations, Portfolio Implementation, Portfolio engineering, Traders and Trading operations Teams to ensure system is performing as expected</li><li>Monitor production platforms for start of day readiness and general system health</li><li>Effectively foster dialogue and communication between internal business customers, Technology Teams, and our application vendors</li><li>Provide operational and incident support for your assigned applications and modules</li><li>Perform root cause analysis on production incidents and propose solutions to prevent recurrence</li><li>Define user stories and acceptance criteria based on business requirements</li><li>Define business, functional and technical systems requirements accompanied with solution detail, diagrams</li><li>Participate in the software development lifecycle</li><li>Identify ways to streamline processes by recommending items for automation, re-structuring, or elimination</li><li>Provide business recommendations based on critical analysis</li><li>Maintain a high-level of accuracy while managing multiple requests with varying complexities and due dates</li></ul>&nbsp;Benefits:<ul><li>100% paid medical, dental and vision premiums for you and your qualifying dependents</li><li>A 50% 401(k) match, up to the IRS maximum</li><li>20 days of PTO, plus 10 paid holidays</li><li>Family Support programs including 8 week Paid Primary Caregiver Leave, $10,000 fertility, family forming, and hormonal health assistance, and back-up child, adult, and elder care</li><li>Opportunity to participate in our hybrid work from home program.
