This is an opportunity to leverage your industry knowledge and communication skills to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</p><h2><br></h2><p>LOCATION:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;REMOTE (except CA &amp; HI)</p><p>JOB TITLE:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; CU Financial Ops Consultant</p><p>PAY:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;$25-27/hr&nbsp;</p><p>SCHEDULE:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Monday – Friday; 8am – 4:30pm EST (30-minute lunch)</p><p>DURATION:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;6-month contract, possible extension</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><h2>What You’ll Do</h2><ul><li><strong>Lead Pre-Conversion Analysis</strong>: Conduct in-depth reviews of clients’ general ledger systems, acting as a consultant to map their chart of accounts to settlement applications with precision.</li><li><strong>Serve as Primary Contact</strong>: Be the go-to resource for client staff, addressing settlement process concerns and ensuring accuracy to minimize financial risks and liabilities.</li><li><strong>Facilitate Tailored Training</strong>: Develop and deliver customized training plans in collaboration with the Training Department, providing hands-on support for two weeks post-conversion (with potential for extended support as needed).</li><li><strong>Optimize Accounting Processes</strong>: Analyze clients’ chart of accounts and recommend best practices for recording daily settlement transactions, ensuring clarity and compliance.</li><li><strong>Drive Continuous Improvement</strong>: Partner with Creative Media and Training teams to update and enhance training materials, improving the delivery of settlement education.</li><li><strong>Provide Ongoing Support</strong>: Respond promptly to open tickets from clients, offering guidance on daily settlement challenges and maintaining strong relationships.</li><li><strong>Ensure Quality Assurance</strong>: Review client procedures, identify potential risks, and recommend strategies to minimize financial liability while keeping relevant teams informed of critical issues.</li></ul><h2><br></h2><h2>What We’re Looking For</h2><ul><li><strong>Experience</strong>:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">5+ years in credit card settlement or related financial services.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">3+ years in Visa/MasterCard industry services (credit cards, debit cards, stored value cards, etc.).</li><li class="ql-indent-1">2+ years using Microsoft Office (advanced proficiency in Word and Excel required).</li><li class="ql-indent-1">1+ year working remotely.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Experience with Workday and FDR systems (preferred).</li><li><strong>Education</strong>: Bachelor’s degree preferred.</li><li><strong>Skills</strong>:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Strong analytical skills and math aptitude to solve complex problems.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to build trust and clarity with clients.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Ability to manage multiple priorities, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Basic accounting knowledge to assist clients with general ledger reconciliation.</li><li><strong>Mindset</strong>: A proactive problem-solver who researches thoroughly, digs deep for solutions, and approaches challenges with enthusiasm and adaptability.</li></ul><p><br></p>
