The primary responsibilities include supporting Accounting Policy functions, managing day-to-day accounting activities, overseeing the month-end and year-end close processes, and handling intercompany accounting transactions. The ideal candidate will ensure accounting policies are compliant and aligned with UK/US GAAP standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all accounting operations. The Accounting Manager will also be responsible for transitioning new processes, documenting business procedures, and maintaining robust internal controls.</div><div><br></div><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Managing general accounting functions and ensuring compliance with accounting policies.</li><li>Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department, ensuring timely and accurate completion of major projects and reports.</li><li>Managing the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.</li><li>Reviewing journal entries prepared by teams in AP, AR, and GL across various regions.</li><li>Managing intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance, and assisting with audits across different regions.</li><li>Transitioning new processes and leading knowledge transfer from clients, ensuring smooth integration.</li><li>Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.</li><li>Performing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Ensuring accounting practices align with UK/US GAAP and IFRS standards.</li><li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and efficiency.</li></ul><div><br></div><h3>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</h3><ul><li>M.Com/ MBA Finance/ CA (Inter)/ CMA (Inter) or equivalent qualification.</li><li>Strong knowledge of UK/US GAAP and IFRS standards.</li><li>Minimum of 8 years of relevant accounting experience.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in team management and leadership.</li><li>Fluent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams.</li><li>Excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>Compliance-oriented with a strong understanding of internal controls.</li><li>Excellent planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Working experience with SAP is preferred.</li><li>Flexibility to work in UK time zones.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul><div><br></div><h3><br></h3>
