As a remote-first team of five developers, we’re backed by top-tier investors and trusted by labs across the U.S. Our mission is to accelerate scientific progress, from detecting foodborne pathogens to advancing molecular diagnostics.We’re seeking a&nbsp;Senior Frontend Engineer&nbsp;to lead our frontend architecture and drive a groundbreaking Embedded Analytics project. This role is about more than coding&amp;mdash;it’s about shaping a platform that impacts science, health, and safety. You’ll define our frontend philosophy, build a unified design system, mentor engineers, and collaborate with design and product teams to create scalable, user-friendly UI systems.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Architect scalable, maintainable frontend systems using&nbsp;React</li><li>Develop and implement a design system with reusable components, tokens, and clear documentation</li><li>Lead the frontend development of a new Embedded Analytics initiative</li><li>Create onboarding documentation and promote best practices in testing, performance, and accessibility</li><li>Mentor engineers and establish high standards for frontend quality</li><li>Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver production-ready experiences</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of experience in modern frontend development (React, HTML/CSS, JavaScript)</li><li>Expertise in building and maintaining large-scale frontend systems and reusable component libraries</li><li>Deep understanding of architecture patterns, state management, and performance optimization</li><li>Strong communication and mentoring skills</li><li>Proactive problem-solving and ownership mindset</li><li>Extensive experience with&nbsp;Tailwind CSS, including utility-first design principles, responsive layouts, and semantic, accessible HTML</li><li>Proven ability to implement or contribute to Tailwind-based component libraries and maintain consistency across large codebases</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience building or evolving a design system from the ground up</li><li>Background in modernizing frontend codebases</li><li>Familiarity with visual regression testing, Figma integration, or analytics-heavy interfaces</li><li>Experience with B2B SaaS or enterprise tools</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000/year, based on experience and location</li><li>Variable Pay: Up to $9,500/year, tied to product and architectural milestones</li><li>Remote-first culture&nbsp;with flexible hours</li><li>Collaborative, feedback-driven work environment with a focus on sustainable growth</li><li>Comprehensive&nbsp;health, dental, and vision benefits&nbsp;(U.S.-based employees)</li><li>Learning &amp; development stipend&nbsp;to support your growth</li></ul>
